Global Integrity Report: 2007 Key Findings
The Washington-based organisation, Global Integrity, has published its
report assessing the existence and effectiveness of key anti-corruption and
good governance mechanisms at the national level in countries around the
world, including those in Africa. It was prepared by a team of more than 250
in-country journalists, researchers, and academics and comprises more than a
million words of text and 20,000 data points. Rather than attempt to measure
corruption directly, the Report instead assesses the opposite of
corruption-government accountability and transparency.
